When we read, study, and memorize His word, it takes root in our hearts. The psalmist is showing us that we can hide God’s word in our hearts, so that when temptation come our way, we’ll know how to turn from temptation rather than sin against God. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. I want a rich understanding of His Word, one that gives power against the enemy and helps me overcome the temptations of this world.
